Dangerous afternoon heat, storms after 1 PM
High of 92, low of 78, heat index climbing fast after sunrise. SW 10-16 mph holds through midday before any showers build, thick sticky air the main story. Tomorrow brings heavier rain and a cooler 87.
In town today: Cowboy Junkies - Celebrating 40 Years and Beyond at The Charleston Music Hall, 7:30 PM. Cowboy Junkies take the stage at The Charleston Music Hall at 7:30 PM. A solid reason to head downtown once the heat breaks.
